Dr. Deloris McNeal Young, D.D.
Dr. Deloris M. Young is the founder and senior pastor of the Greater Pentecostal Temple, Inc., in Hardeeville, South Carolina. She is the Lay Director for the Southeastern District and a District Elder of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW) and holds the distinct honor of being the first woman appointed to these positions in the state of Georgia.
Dr. Young has taken advantage of many opportunities to serve the Lord in various diverse positions at the state and national levels. She is a former President of the Georgia State Council Missionaries and Christian Women’s Auxiliary; Chaplain for the Young People’s Department, and the Constitution and By-laws Chairperson for the Young People’s Department. Her civic accomplishments include serving on the Island Health Care Medical Facility Board of Directors; lifetime member of the National Council of Negro Women; member of the South Carolina Chapter of the NAACP and the LowCountry Small Business Hub and CEO of Agape Family Life Center, Inc.
Dr. Young is married to Elder Joseph Young, Sr., the mother of four children, three sons and one daughter (her eldest son is deceased), and the grandmother of ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
